Trias strengthens entrepreneurial organizations around the world, that in turn support local entrepreneurs and farmers. Through tailored support for each partner, members get access to advice, small loans or training. This enables them to start a business or grow further. In this way, they gain more independence and sufficient income to give themselves, their families and their community a decent life.

What does the job entail?  

Are you a captivating storyteller who effortlessly weaves narratives, while also possessing the technical savvy to navigate the digital landscape with finesse? We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a flair for communication and storytelling, coupled with proficiency in managing websites and social media platforms. Join our team and bring your unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to the forefront of our digital initiatives.

With the objective of strengthening our external visibility to donors and other international stakeholders, Trias is looking for someone with a creative and innovative mindset that can transform a complex information into an engaging storytelling material.  For this you will work in the communications team in Brussels office, but also with the regional advisors in our 7 regions. Exciting, right?

Your primary responsibilities 

  • Be Trias’ website and social media guardian through content creation, keeping all platforms updated and reassuring that Trias branding is accordingly used and implemented.
  • Organise regular follow up meetings with the regional communication advisors to support them in the implementation of Trias communications strategy in each region and be their direct point of contact for support.
  • Support the communications team in designing and reworking a variety of communication and knowledge products, including the regional websites, social media infographics and publications (annual reports, newsletters, project-related reports, articles, factsheets, etc…).
  • Advise on new innovative ways to enhance our visibility and engagement with our stakeholders.
  • Design and organize, along with the Team Coordinator, the yearly Communications Workshop with the 7 regions.
  • Organise coaching sessions and develop tools and training materials on effective use of communication tools and on building strategic relationships through external communication with your colleagues in the regions.

What do you have to offer us in terms of qualifications and skills? 

  • You have a minimum of three years in a similar position, preferably in a non-profit organization; relevant work experience at an international level is an asset
  • You are dynamic and creative with excellent digital design and branding skills;
  • You have experience with Word and Adobe. (experience in CMS and other tools is a plus)
  • You have an excellent command of English, as well as strong writing skills; Spanish is a plus.
  • You can easily translate program information into clear messaging & infographics, tailored to the specific target audience;
  • You have knowledge of training methodologies and the development of user-friendly materials and tools such as manuals and toolkits. Knowledge of e-learning principles is a definite plus; You have coaching skills and can motivate others;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are good at working with multicultural teams;
  • You are a true team player and thrive in an environment where collaboration, collegiality, consultation are encouraged in all contacts;

We offer a job in a dynamic and challenging environment in an international context.

You will receive a full-time contract for an indefinite period.

The full-time gross monthly salary is a minimum of € 3.579,40 and a maximum of € 5.054,14 (with 35 years of relevant experience; salaries adapted to the current index).

The gross salary is supplemented by an attractive package of fringe benefits (meal vouchers, group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, 13th month, hybrid way of working (50% telework), telework allowance, etc).

The office is located in the heart of Brussels, easily accessible on foot from the Central Station, and close to metro Madou.
